New at Bumbershoot Supplies. 55 Gorgeous Vintage Beads, Vintage Rhinestones, Vintage Cabochons, Settings, and More!

Since September 15, we have added 55 new items and restocked 3 at Bumbershoot Supplies! So much vintage goodness! 

I hope you will find an item or two that inspire you.

We are supplementing our vintage settings with a special selection of antiqued brass glue in and prong settings for vintage rhinestones and vintage cabochons, I've shown just a few below, see the settings, bezels, chain section of Bumbershoot Supplies for more.  We are awaiting additional settings, both glue in and prong, which are being manufactured and antiqued for us.  These are in production currently and I look forward to adding them to Bumbershoot Supplies later in October.  In addition, we will continue to stock as many quality vintage settings as we can find... Of course, we have some glorious vintage rhinestones to go into the pronged settings... And some new vintage glass cabochons also... Some really lovely vintage glass beads have made their way onto the virtual shelves of Bumbershoot Supplies recently, including these big glorious vintage glass teardrops, and two lovely selections from vintage Japan, tiny silver mercury beads, and these gorgeous vintage hand beaded balls... There are many more delightful vintage additions at Bumbershoot Supplies, including ribbons, charms, vintage silvery lucite beads, and some lovely Swarovski crystal cabochons, here's just a few more of our new additions.  The pearl buttons are vintage Japan, available in 2 sizes, the sequins are 1930's vintage French, and the flower resin cabs are really delicate and lovely (settings to fit these wee cabochons are being made for us as I write this)...

New at Bumbershoot Supplies. 27 Gorgeous Additions, Vintage Metal, Glass Cabochons, Beads, Millinery

Here's an update on new items at Bumbershoot Supplies.

Since September 1, we have added 27 new and restocked 13 items!

We have been working to expand our offerings of vintage metal, so you'll see a lot of new metals at Bumbershoot Supplies. I've also reorganized the store categories once more, as we begin to stock settings to match our rhinestones and cabochons.

We'll stock as many vintage settings as we can find. In addition, we have also ordered settings for both pointed and flat back rhinestones and cabochons in an antiqued brass finish. We expect a selection to be available by the end of the month, along with some new and spectacular rhinestones. These high quality antiqued brass settings are made in the United States, antiqued for us, using no lead or nickel in either the settings or the antiquing process. Stay tuned! Now, onto a selection of our new items...

Here are some of the new settings we have available. I'm showing these with cabochons, actions shots, if you will :) The filigree is not really a setting, but I was inspired by our featured artist Jeanne van Etten, who has made some lovely necklaces using these cabochons and similar filigrees. The antiqued silver is an example of the new settings en route to us, the filigree and fancy bezel are vintage... We have some new and lovely vintage glass, including yet another vintage Japanese glass pearl, this one a twisted leaf with an embedded wire loop. I was really excited to find these amethyst sew ons, dating to 1939-1945, with the most wonderful original packaging from the "Czecho-Protectorate-Germany". You'll find a photo of the packaging included in the listing. The robin's egg blue cabochons are vintage Japanese, just gorgeous... As are these 3 new vintage Japanese glass cabochons, all from 1940's to 1950's Japan... These are a few new and romantic additions to our vintage metals... And finally, some additions to our millinery and trims. The fabric lily of the valley are available in 4 lovely colors, the gorgeous vintage beaded leaf appliques are from Japan, with original tags on the back, and the wing sequins are beautiful, big bits of vintage France...

New at Bumbershoot Supplies. Welcome to Somerset Studio and Belle Armoire Jewelry Readers!

This week, we welcome new customers via Somerset Studio and Belle Armoire Jewelry magazines to Bumbershoot Supplies.  We are thrilled with your response, thank you!  It's been a busy week packing and shipping orders but I've still found a moment or two to restock 9 of our items and add 10 new items since our newsletter on Sept 1.  

I'm continuing to expand the trims and millinery section of Bumbershoot Supplies, this week adding vintage fabric lily of the valley stems in 4 lovely colors.  When the weather gets grey and you need a reminder that spring always comes, these may be for you...

We have one new vintage glass pearl bead drop this week, the lovely twisted leaves shown in the photo above, making a total of 12 different vintage glass pearl bead drops offered at Bumbershoot Supplies. These are vintage Japanese, and we also have some new vintage glass flower cabochons from 1940's to 1950's Japan, 2 paisleys and one 18mm round...

Several new items have made their way onto the shelves of Bumbershoot Supplies this week. All vintage, of course :) Here's just a few:

New and restocked vintage cabochons and vintage beads, see the vintage beads and vintage glass cabochons sections of Bumbershoot Supplies, including 1940's beaded pink and white millinery flowers or leaves from Italy (see above), Japanese millefiore and mirrored West German cabochons...

...and these 1940's vintage Czech wintergreen or spearmint beads, to complement the candy cane beads we already stock...

New in plastics are below, see the vintage beads section for the golden donuts and love knots.
