ReplyDeleteThank you both for your kind comments! The ovals are unpolished mother of pearl discs, sort of a shimmery grey. They were made in the USA some time between the 1920's and 1940's. I've stamped them with ink and some of my favorite rubber stamps - they take the permanent alcohol based ink really well.
